The only way OUT (late capitalism) is THROUGH (late capitalism) 💥🧨🕳 I’ve been reading a lot of the late Mark Fisher’s works, like Post Capitalist Desire, and although he is bleak in the way only British intellectuals can be, he does tease out a strange minor chord of hope amidst the stultifying false nature of capital... I just finished recording @world_of_rex_pod pod w/ @halo.rossetti just now + am inspired by Halo’s visions for positive future world building— and the idea that #trans creatives are the front line death doulas for the collective / which inextricably means we are the (future) life doulas. Living in late capitalism is universally exhausting, and meme caches like @wussymag capture that more succinctly than my grid musings could. But know that your capital-D delusion (for utopian worlds, for art, for true love, for community) is a sacred provocation in these times (thank you @jacobtobia for the download on radical delusion) — so hold on to your strange desires, your visions for utopian worlds, for ecstatic somatics, for things that could exist but don’t yet, things felt from the heart, the kinesiology of G-d in all its full multivalent slipperiness.
