Welcome to the wonderful world of Guille Carmona @guiiiilleeee The London-based illustrator who mixes muscular characters with vibrant colours and fluffy animals to comment on the theatrics of gym bro culture. Much of the inspiration for Carmona’s practice, which he describes as “an extremely queer fever dream”, comes from his childhood, when he spent a lot of his time reading manga and watching anime. Carmona, originally from Spain, is influenced by everything from 80s airbrush artists to folk narratives and Japanese new wave art. However, the subject matter he is most drawn to is extreme masculine homoeroticism.
