Last week, @ForFreedoms invited a number of Iranian artists to join @HankWillisThomas and @JR to activate New York's @4FreedomsPark with a multi-day and multi-media art installation facing the United Nations entitled ‘Eyes on Iran.’ The installation was unveiled at an event featuring U.S. Secretary of State @HillaryClinton, Human Rights Lawyer and Director of the Strategic Litigation Project at the Atlantic Council @GissouNia, artists Sheida Soleimani (@sheidajanam) and @Shirin__Neshat, actor and singer @SepidehMoafi and more with a performance by Grammy award-winner @JonBatiste. ‘Eyes on Iran’ aims to amplify the mission of Woman, Life, Freedom, a campaign demanding that the Islamic Republic of Iran is removed from the Commission on the Status of Women. The installation is on view through January 1, 2023.
