These days, for most of us, a suit is not daily wear, but that doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate the same sharpness and focus that good tailoring provides. Seven years ago, when Basic Rights first launched, we commissioned a master Savile Row tailor, whose client list included two of creative history’s most iconic-suit wearers in David Bowie and Bryan Ferry, to create a pattern for a pair of classically tailored high-waisted trousers, and they remain unchanged today. ⁠ ⁠ Our High-Waisted trousers have the signature silhouette of a pair of Saville Row suit trousers, but are made out of quality durable cotton for everyday wear, and feature classic waist adjusters for both functionality and a unique nod to their origin. And now, they're available in new colourways.⁠
