BOOTS. okay, enough peeps have asked ABOUT the footwear I have in this ‘story’ that I shall answer. ~these were actually procured for me by the brilliant wardrobe team on a film I did now-moons-ago called ‘Afghan Luke’ (directed with mad gonzo swirl by @mikeclattenburg ..) There’s a vitality and vital’ness to the footwear an actor has on, in becoming the person they’re embodying in any given role. Though I think most would consider me an inside-out actor type, I’m never not in persistent deep chat with the often-genius costume folk... and I often come in with deep heavy opinions...! They, of great patience and understanding. And invention and thought. These boots from that film, I kept. Have now had them forever. Through many nights out, having gone through various forms of repair ~ they and me!
