Japan day 2 🍜 Today we did a little roadtrip up to the Japanese alps!! It was one of the prettiest drives I’ve ever done with wildflowers, hot springs, waterfalls and trees lining every turn. We made a pit stop in Kamikōchi to see the lakes and bridges and it was stunning. It was raining so the views weren’t super clear, but I can’t imagine how beautiful it would be on a clear day! We ate ramen then finished our drive to Takayama. We’ve only been here for a few hours and I’m already obsessed. We watched around the picturesque streets and got sashimi and Kobe beef for dinner 🤤 I’m so excited to explore the lesser known side of the country for the next week!
