I haven’t seen this dude since 1985! We went to Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, Maryland. Barry McEvoy moved to Maryland from Belfast and was THE COOLEST DUDE AT SCHOOL! He probably didn’t think so. He had the biggest Mohawk, he wore a kilt, and big ass Doc Martens. He was the lead singer of a Hardcore punk band called PHLEGM. Barry Graduated in 85 and I had often wondered what happened to him. He became an actor. He spent time in NYC and LA like most actors. He is also a screenwriter and currently teaches here In Dublin. He’s now married with an 8 year old. What a blast from the past. I asked about the Mohawk as it blew me away that he got up every morning before school to work it. He told me that he made his own little sugar paste concoction. The only problem was flies. When warmer weather hit, they were swarming all over his head. Haha. @biggrillfestival Dublin, Ireland.
