@mango asked me choose my literary favourites for the summer... I have long admired Jez Butterworth’s writing and Jerusalem is a play that will stay forever etched in my memory. I last saw it @royalcourttheatre in 2009 and a few weeks ago got to see Mark Rylance’s magic again - his performance stopped time for me. Post show, we got to step inside Rooster’s caravan and see the view from the stage.. memories I’ll never forget.
