Thanks to donations made by @medela_us in honor of World Breastfeeding Week, Good+Foundation will be able to help more moms comfortably care for their infants. Brittney gave birth to a healthy baby girl, but unfortunately was hospitalized just six days later. Upset to be separated from her newborn, Brittney pumped during her hospital stay to nourish her baby even when they couldn't be together. She shared with her nurse that she was determined to breastfeed for a full year, even after she returned to high school. Seeing how committed she was, her nurse provided Brittney with additional breastfeeding education as well as nursing bras and tank tops from Good+. This gave Brittney the encouragement she needed during a difficult time, and she returned home to her little one with the supplies she needed to reach her breastfeeding goals. For each item purchased through Medela’s Amazon store through August 15, Medela will donate one new mom item to Good+Foundation (minimum 54,138 units).
