Absolutely beaming with pride to make this announcement! A wonderful vendor team and I have been keeping a secret for MONTHS. Back in June we organized a styled shoot focused around crafting a fully wheelchair-accessible adventure elopement that embraced whimsy, romance, and magical elements with a queer, interracial, and interabled couple. Just this morning it was featured on a BIG wedding publication, @greenweddingshoes I'm proud of this for more reasons than I can fit into this caption. But perhaps what I’m proud of most of all are the many talented folks who committed to helping bring this vision to life. From the couple to the incredible vendor team, a majority of this group consisted of people from the LGBTQ+, POC, and Disabled communities (w/ a couple solid allies)! ❤️ Ultimately I hope seeing this shoot on a bigger platform can show more people out in the world what’s possible, and that they CAN have an adventure elopement that meets their accessibility needs and that they deserve to see bodies, identities, and relationships like theirs celebrated in the wedding industry and media.
