Excited to play at @church_of_sound tomorrow for a special gig in memory of Abram Wilson. Abram was one of the first jazz musicians I ever learnt from, who sadly passed away ten years ago. @abramwilsoncharity has organised a special band for this, most of whom I've known and played with since I was a teenager or younger - @markkavuma, @tyroneisaacstuart, @binkergolding , @nat_e_cross, @edwardwakilihick, @ferg_ireland and @christosstylianides_ . It's going to be a special evening performing some of Abram's tunes and originals by the band members, all the more so because I just got back from Abram's home town of New Orleans a couple of weeks ago.
