To my Grandfather: I have lost many people in my life; so you would think that would make things easier... but it doesn’t. You have been my biggest fan and never gave up on me. You didn’t know this, but ever since we did that fancy wrestling game a few years ago (and you somehow beat me), I was in awe of how strong you were... but maybe more importantly how smart you were. You have taught me so much not only about myself, but about where I come from. I wanted to win American Ninja Warrior especially this year because had a feeling we didn’t have much time left with you. I wanted you to see me win it all - you would have gone crazy and bragged to all your friends at the senior center! More importantly, I don’t regret much in my life... but if I could go back, I wish I could have spent more time with you. I wish I could fix that one thing. Man, I am going to miss you Ghiddoo.
