BFF Amsterdam presents a Live Score to STARS AND WATER CARRIERS. @twin.simo and @amedeopace (@blonderedheadofficial), accompanied by @michaelleonhart on trumpet and chamber ensemble of string players, will perform a live score to an adaptation to the 1974 cycling film, STARS AND WATER CARRIERS by Jørgen Leth.

This classic film is about the 1973 Giro D’Italia. Ole Ritter, Eddy Merckx, and Felice Gimondi battle for the pink jersey.

Blonde Redhead is one of the most influential rock bands from New York in the last three decades. Jørgen Leth is a Danish poet and film director who is considered a leading figure in experimental documentary film making. Amsterdam’s IDFA has honored Leth with their Lifetime Achievement Award.
