Paused ambivalent girl summer to update my website, so here’s a carousel of some install shots from show at RA schools last month, ty to everyone who came through ✈️ This installation of Machines of Love was accompanied by miniatures of the 6 players who negotiate across a network built from aircraft lavatories, air conditioning units and transparent plumbing Machines of Love uses the fuselage of scrapped airplanes to think about desire, horror and the limitations and potentialities of the body. Following the strange logic that desire can possess, the film is structured as a series of libidinal games. These games—somewhere between coin-slot machine, flirtation and trust building exercise, between Vegas and Hades—climax in a body horror of reproduction, cake and longing.
