Fall hair transformation using my fave foilayage technique with a twist 🍂 Back of the head: 8 foils (she has thicker hair) Alternate between horizontal and v like parting to mimic a balayage For this client I used a zig zag parting technique to give her more of a ribbon effect like her inspo If your client needs dimension you can add lowlights by taking a horizontal slice right above the v like parting Stack foils so your sections don’t get moved around or smushed Remember brightness lives around the face so when you’re painting bring the high points up closest to the face and the lows towards the back of the head Front: Start by working on a diagonal back taking a teased weave leaving the hair closest to the face out. I’m using @Redken Pro Flash lift power 9 with for maximum lift with the added protection of bonder built in Don’t forget to foil right above the ear!! This foil will connect the back section to the front and give your client brightness below the ear Start to pivot as you work up to the mohawk section If you read this far I truly hope you learned at least one new thing from my video What do you guys think?
