Just because a product is labeled as “baby” doesn’t always mean it’s gentler. No matter how seasoned in skincare you are, it’s important to always read the back labels, especially if you’re dealing with sensitive skin. In this instance, despite being loyal users of the adult version for years with no issues, the baby version gave our toddler a reaction. Upon flipping over to the ingredient list, we realized the adult version was a cleaner and more gentle formulation, whereas the baby version had some sensitizing ingredients in it - namely, SLS, phenoxyethanol, and fragrance. PS - I am a loyal consumer of Cetaphil and love the brand, and have highly recommended their Gentle Skin Cleanser consistently. I don’t doubt that their baby product works fine for many consumers. Sharing this specifically as a watch out for families whose kids may share similar sensitivities or allergies as ours. #sensitiveskin #sensitiveskincare #eczema #eczemaskincare #babyskincare #babyskincareproducts
