I've been asked a lot if astrology "works" - and the short answer is no. The longer answer is "absolutely no". Astrology isn't a new idea - it's rather ancient, from an era before we even knew the earth rotated the sun. It has been consistently debunked, nor was there ever any reason to think it would work. As an aside, horoscopes are more modern but no less nonsense: the "predictions" they make are Forer or Barnum statements; platitudes that could apply to anyone. I write about them a lot in #TheIrrationalApe / #GoodThinking and it's worth noticing how they're almost always flattering & generic. And look, this should be a harmless indulgence the same way a fortune cookie is - but the reality is many people get very upset or preoccupied over their star sign, or horoscope or "zodiacal compatibility" - and I'm telling you there's zero need to stress over it. It's fictitious, you do you.
