We said YES! πΎ
First at city hall,
Then at the trail.
During the entire month of March, I got to celebrate the greatest work of art Iβll ever co-create: the dance of two shared lives.
And while I thought it would be merely transactional (yet fun), it ended up being this transformative joyful exercise in trust, creativity, self-reflection and somehow made me fall in love more with my everything (aka Roberto).
We started by signing papers in one of such qualified government buildings. It is WEIRD to think you need them to be recognized as together. But shortly after we went outside where Teresa had prepared a small ceremony for us, one that beautifully honored our connection to each other and the Earth. π€ Then, went to Mexico to conclude the marriage ( more on that coming soon).
To say the entire month of celebrating was perfect would be an understatement. I always imagined my wedding would be this super massive and complex event, but the day we decided to do it was the day we planned it all. From the paperwork to the family celebration. And due COVID it was no way going to be massive (maybe later?). And with a little help ( A LOT OF HELP) from our family/friends, everything went beyond planned...somehow everything was better than planned πΎ
Not sorry about upcoming wedding spam π
