From the time @hamiltonmusical started off Broadway in January 2015 through everything going crazy in March 2020 I played around 1500ish shows, played on the movie, played the award shows, etc. and out of those virtually no one has actually “seen” me play the book since we were in a closed pit. So in honor of my official departure from Hamilton Broadway I thought I’d share a snippet of a GoPro video from September 2015 my subs would use in preparation for them to come in and cover. I could go on and on about how much Hamilton has changed my life in pretty much every way so I’ll just sum it up with the worlds biggest THANK YOU to EVERYONE who has made the journey so indescribably special and unforgettable!!! It all still kind of doesn’t feel real. This segment from Hurricane into Reynolds Pamphlet is one of the crazier parts of the percussion book that gets a bit around the set up (quickly lol) so thought it would be a good clip to share.
