With less than a week until Halloween, all your little ghouls and goblins likely have their costumes picked and they at starting to get excited for trick or treating. If you missed us during pumpkin season, we have a few tips for you when picking pumpkins from our local grocery stores! With all the cold weather, be sure to choose a pumpkin from a store that is keeping them indoors. Check the pumpkins for any holes, soft spots or skin discolouration. This could cause your pumpkins to rot prematurely. Give a little tap all over, it should sound hollow. And it should also feel firm to the touch. We hope this helps! Happy carving.
