The day I wrote it was one of the hardest days of my life but was also the day I showed myself my own strength. I could’ve crumbled but instead I turned my pain into something that lifted me up in every sense. Making music is my form of catharsis and has allowed me to grow through and move on from so much. I shared a lot when this song came out and it was painful at times, everyone suddenly knowing so much of your trauma and the conversations always being centred around it but this song has been one of the best forms of therapy I have experienced and I wouldn’t change it for the world, it allowed me to connect to so many of you.
