Adele has described her decision to cancel a Las Vegas residency as the “worst moment of my career” and promised to “nail” the rescheduled shows. The British singer-songwriter used an interview with Elle magazine to give her most detailed explanation yet of her reasoning. “There was just no soul in it,” she said. “The stage set-up wasn’t right. It was very disconnected from me and my band, and it lacked intimacy. It was devastating.” She added that she was “embarrassed” and the first couple of months were “really hard”. However, the star said she was “right to do it now” and excited to finally share in the communal enjoyment of her new music. 🔗 Read more via the link in our bio
