“Sorry, not Bolton”... This guy. What a trip it was to get to play Sam and take on the world that my pal @tommytommytommyb so beautifully created. I’ve known Thomas for years, we actually went to the same school several years apart, and while he was a student, we were paired up as part of a mentorship program. He never needed my mentorship as he’s a ridiculous actor. I’ve always admired his work immensely and he’s actually the reason I started watching @lockeandkeynetflix. When I started on the show, I told our showrunner @mereschmere about this, and asked if I might have any scenes with him. She smiled coyly saying nothing. The whole switch was kept a secret till midway through the season, and when I first read episode 6 my jaw dropped. To get to bring home Sam’s story and inhabit my friend’s character was a challenge like I’ve never had before and a real real honor. I hope you were all as surprised as I was.
