#transformationtuesday From 260 to 231 in 5 months. One thing to remember is just like pain is addictive... so is Joy and the more joy you practice the more addictive it becomes.
Well it’s not where I want to be but dammit it ain’t where I was either lol. As you can see I put on some pounds over the last couple years but some things came into perspective. And I found my “Why”(s) :
1) my children, what kind of example was I setting for them?
2) at the age of 45 I know that the longer I let myself slip the longer it takes to come back
3) my dedication to being an example for how healthy being vegan can actually be
4) Dammit I want to look and feel my best 🤷🏾♂️
Sure there are more things I there but those are definitely the main ones.
As you all know I don’t show my body often, much of it is that I’m never comfortable with my body because of body dysmorphia... I was once 315 and I always see myself like that but I’m working on me and those thoughts and loving myself a little more each day.
This post isn’t just for me though. It’s for anyone that may be struggling and thinking they aren’t worthy of greatness... you most certainly fucking are. And you are worthy of the work it will take to get there because to be able to work is an honor that not all are blessed with... but you are.
What ever state you are in didn’t take a day to get there so don’t expect it to only take a day to get out of it... keep grinding and keep pushing.
