Such a joy to share the stage with Collegium again and some of the most talented young musicians in the world today. Thank you for this memorable concert that we dedicated to the memory of Sir Harrison Birtwistle. I was privileged to work with Harry and perform his works a lot over the years - he was a constant source of inspiration for me and his unique, uncompromising and pure musical voice will be missed greatly. I hope he would have enjoyed this thought provoking musical journey that took us from Monteverdi, Biber, Purcell, Locke to Shostakovich and Cage via new works by Cassandra Miller and Thomas Larcher.
