I don’t prefer to take videos because they aren’t as tangible as photographs. Photos can be printed and collaged and held in the hand. Videos live on a disk or in a drive or are forgotten on a phone and lost to the ether as technology advances. Having said that, here are some videos of my summer set to a soundtrack that feels both foreboding and optimistic of the future.
