My Alaska/Yukon roadtrip has been well over a month and I just took my first shower in over a week (it was glorious) when I got home. It's taken it's toll on my car and Olive (our 1970s trailer). The rooftop box broke due to constant potholes and high winds. We popped a tire. One of the windows stopped working. Most of the screws in the trailer came out with all the jangling. Most of the trailer drawer latches are broken. The trailer door randomly opens as we drive. We got new windshield chips. The tires need replacement. Everything is covered in 10 layers of dust, dirt, doghair, and some sort of oil or stain. Road-tripping on the cheap isn't really glamourous but we wouldn't have it any other way. Whiskey and I love the Dempster and all the roads that lead to it. If you've been following our stories, thanks for coming along!
