UP was a concept we sat on and developed for a while. How do we create something universal, simple, and relatable to kids who got enough to think about already. It wasn’t easy but we did it. We touched the whole city, we brought it back to the basics on an elevated level. Everybody apart of this played a huge role in its success and I love that Puma trusted us and gave us the freedom to execute. To look at the youth and imagine what this would’ve meant to me and my friends who’ve had to figure things out ourselves lets me know we’re doing something right. This has been the such a special thing for our community, and although we still face adversity, we’ll keep pushing. I only say all this to challenge anyone reading this to figure how they can make their world a better place and pursue that relentlessly. Most importantly, appreciate the women in your life because they’re the ones that teach us how to love - and inject that into all we do.
