After a heavy few weeks for my family, and losing my Uncle to prostate cancer, I almost didn’t go to the beach race. I’m happy I dragged myself there as I met + photographed the glorious Martin, who you see here. He was rolling his bike along the sand dressed in this phenomenal red leather race suit which complemented his bicycle. When I stopped him and asked to take his photo he was charmed but a little ruffled as he hadn’t been out riding long and he already had a flat tyre. We didn’t talk much as I was conscious he was on his way somewhere, possibly off to find a replacement inner tube. @mallelondon #mamiyarz67
