“I don’t get why you’re in your head, you look great!”... ———————————— I’ve heard this over and over. Hell, I have said it to people when they’ve expressed their feelings to me about being in their head. But the transparent reality is, body dysmorphia effects more people than you know. Sure, you have your good days where you feel 10/10 and unstoppable. But also, there’s days where you’re constantly in your head about the way you look, seeing every little flaw, that no one else can even see. Every time you look in the mirror, you can’t see the “new” you...Not every day is going to be a good day, and not every day is going to be a bad day. My advice? Take each day as a NEW day. Sure, yesterday was a shit day for me mentally, but guess what, I can’t go back in the past and change it.
