As apart of the project between Skepta and Sotheby’s, for their Contemporary Curated series - we decided to collaborate on the concept by re-imagining elements of the intuitive painting through garments and textiles, The work ‘Mama goes to market’ inspired by an abstract concept of home, featuring both traditional and surrealist elements such as the graffiti and printed textiles. We’ve taken these as points of inspiration across 5 garments to commemorate the image. All product is painted by hand in Los Angeles, CA.
