Ses nombreuses images en noir et blanc de la Méditerranée embrassent l’horizon, sombres et inquiétantes. Il nous montre le reflet scintillant de lune dans la mer ou des bateaux qui se balancent au loin, tandis qu’au large, des avions à basse altitude, comme des traits lumineux, laissent derrière eux leurs traînées de condensation – des vues nocturnes peu spectaculaires prises au téléobjectif depuis le balcon de son appartement. --- LANDSCAPES AND SEASCAPES. Exhibition « Newton, Riviera » The landscape was a passion that Helmut Newton nurtured while living in Monaco. His many black-and-white shots of the Mediterranean are dark and brooding as they take in the wide horizon.
