i’ve been taking so much time to process how amazing last week was, and the one thing that always remains true is this: there is nothing better than Jesus. on June 23rd, 2021 I rededicated my life to Jesus. that same day 3 years later—last Sunday—my older sister and I had the honor to baptize our younger sister. I couldn’t be more thankful to share the freedom, peace, and joy that are found in Jesus with my younger sister that I, too, once discovered on that day. last week at high school camp, my sister—like countless other individuals—got to make the decision to follow Jesus. seeing God answer so many prayers for my sister, her friends, and so many more is something i’ll forever praise Him for. church camp has always been something i’ve been blessed to experience, but last week was something special. Jesus not only blessed me with the opportunity to experience camp with my sister and mom, but reminded me of the endless, true rest we can find in Him. as someone who has turned their back countless times on God, Jesus has reminded me of His open arms and promises to love me, rescue me, protect me, forgive me, and guide me. for anyone who needs to hear, Jesus promises the same for you. He loves YOU, He is for YOU, and He wants YOU. thank you Jesus for this past week and for the rest of my life.
