I’m delighted to have collaborated with the extraordinary @thomasades on this film. It explores 3 magical Berceuses for Viola and Piano from his recent opera the Exterminating Angel. I really can’t express enough what an honour it is to work closely with composers on new music. It’s the purest form of music making I can imagine - without the filters or distractions of tradition it keeps us fresh and constantly aware of the basic building blocks of music, rhythm and harmony.
