First, called my brother to ask for his birthday date this year as we celebrate our first date anniversary then. He was stoked 💥 Then reached out to our dear @ojoojo to see if she would be in town and interested in officiating our ceremony 🤍. Timing was on our side. And she gifted us the most beautiful altar and ceremony we could’ve asked for 🫶🏽 We took a video tour of @zunzuninsular and knew immediately it was the perfect place. Gosh, but in person it surpassed all the Pinterest boards of our dreams 🤩And the florals they picked for us were just incredible! (Literally gave them no direction) I browsed through @showmeyourmumu and ordered the only dress I would to try on and choose for The Day. @roberto.flores.buck found his suit at no other than @targetstyle.🧚🏾 We both had been eyeing @nisoloshoes for a while so we pulled the trigger on a pair for each of us. 👠👞 @catbirdnyc rings were non-negotiable. They make my fave jewelry with ethics and transparency I can get behind. 💍 @byallegra created what will be forever my favorite bouquet 💐 and flower crown 👑 styled to perfection by @estetica_rodolfos - who btw has been styling my fam for generations. Mom created the best cake design and most delicious wedding favors: Pineapple Habanero jelly, Chocolate covered coffee beans, and Red Berries Jam 💝 Pat made us the best wedding day breakfast and mimosas ever 💙 seriously who wakes up earlier than the bride to help her 🥹 My Dad, Alison, Vivi, and Pat dedicated beautiful words to us during the party 🥂 Dad was also the alterations fairy so he made sure the dress and the suit were ready on time. Angy helped getting the ceremonial bags ready for all our guests, which included so many flavors to represent the “flavors of life” during the ceremony.
