What are the odds?
Out of the millions of kids who pick up a racket worldwide, less than 2% ever play Division 1 college tennis. Out of those D1 athletes, only a fraction go pro — estimates show fewer than 1% will make a living from tennis.
Sounds tough, right? That’s because it is. The pro lifestyle comes with both highs and lows:
✈️ Constant travel across the globe
💸 Expenses pile up (coaches, hotels, flights)
🥇 But the reward? Playing the sport you love at the highest level
👉 So how do you increase your chances?
Train with intention (not just more hours, but smarter hours)
Build a strong team around you (coaches, mentors, support system)
Take care of your body & mind (nutrition, recovery, mindset)
Create opportunities (wildcards, networking, exposure at tournaments)
Odds may be slim, but they aren’t zero. Every pro out there once had the same question in their mind: “What are the chances?” The answer depends on how much you’re willing to invest in yourself.
🎾✨ Keep working. Keep believing.
