I don’t think anyone has given more to skateboarding than Tony Hawk. We were both on Bones Brigade as kids, so I’ve witnessed the insane tempo of his progression up-close since I was 14. While we shared many experiences, Tony’s flown to heights that none of us have reached; all the while, he’s remained the same—humble and loyal to his friends. Some 20 years ago, he nonchalantly asked me to be in his game (THPS2) while finishing lunch at CA Pizza Kitchen. I never would’ve imagined the impact it would make. A couple years ago I heard murmurs of a secret project; next thing I knew, Tony brought us back together. Man, just seeing Kareem again... Then Muska, Bob, Elisa, Rowley—EVERYONE. What an honor it’s been to be part of this, for all these years. Oh yeah, plus the new @tonyhawkthegame is INSANE!!
