Tomokase is an at-home omakase experience that uniquely combines the comfort of home with full-service dining. Kenji, Executive Chef and Nao, Maître d’, visited us and brought a customized and special dining experience. From dishware to clean-up, each event with Tomokase is personalized and taken care of from start to finish. Our night was incredible and memorable for many reasons. Kenji and Nao skillfully and carefully explained each omakase dish. They are both truly a delight! I also legitimately geeked out watching them prepare each menu item. The meal began with an Amuse Bouche. Then, we tried various kinds of chef selected sushi (such as Sea Bream, Japanese Barracuda, Snow Crab, Kingfish, Fatty Tuna, and more). It was our first time trying Nodoguro (Black Throat Sea Perch) - a whitefish that is especially umami, fatty, and rich.
