Struggling to push though hunger in a dieting phase?
Guess what happens when you endure it for an hr or so?
Nothing!
It usually goes away 😅
Ghrelin is a hunger hormone similar to an alert on your car fuel. It tells you when to eat so you’re not too low on energy.
Hunger, however is cyclical.
You can push through it if you implement some of these tips & dieting tricks
🧚🏻♀️ Drink plenty of water - it will fill your stomach up
🧚🏻♀️ Pay attention to your hunger signals and adjust meal timing & portion sizes depending on the time you feel the hungriest- if you can’t sleep at night because you’re hungry, save some carbs and have a larger meal for dinner
🧚🏻♀️ Push your meals out and set a timer - if you’re only having 3-4 meals a day, set an alarm to schedule your meal times. Only eat when the alarm goes off (that’s the hardest part 😏)
🧚🏻♀️ Prioritise hitting your protein& fibre intake - they’ll keeps you fuller longer
🧚🏻♀️ Don’t drink your calories - food in liquid form digests quicker. Replace shakes and juices with solid foods
🧚🏻♀️ MOVE - it takes your appetite away!
Keep in mind that the longer and deeper you go in a deficit the harder it gets both physically and mentally but dieting is temporary.
The more compliant you are the sooner it end!
Get what you want, get out of the deficit and learn to maintain 😉🫶
