Like many of you, we were saddened to hear of the passing of the iconic @p22mountainlion . P-22 served as an ambassador for his species and all urban wildlife by drawing attention to the plight of these animals and the many dangers they face, from rodenticide poisoning to traffic. These are perils we also see impacting our patients on a daily basis. P-22 helped inspire a movement, of which ORC is a part, focused on creating more safe spaces for our wild neighbors and working toward peaceful coexistence with wildlife. We have @p22mountainlion to thank for the Annenberg Wildlife Crossing and hope his life will inspire many more such corridors for urban wildlife everywhere. #SaveLaCougars
