🤍 How important is it to prepare for your bridal trial? In one word, imperative. 🤍 Let’s discuss- What is your trial for exactly? In my opinion your trial is not for you to decide if you like my work. With Instagram, Facebook and socials, you have already been able to see what style and level of work I do and decide if it’s your style and to your liking. Your trial is the time where you have already chosen me as your artist and you are now ready to see if the look you like is going to suit you and meet your expectations. If you’re unsure on the look you want, this is the time to give me as much info about you and your wedding as you can so that together we can come up with the perfect look for you to try. Your trial is one of the most important steps in your wedding makeup. How should you prepare for your trial? Here are some tips to help make sure that your trial is successful👇🏻 ✅Wax your brows - so so important for a smooth finish and to make sure we have the most usuable eye space to work on. Messy brows = messy finish ✅ Have Inspo pics that show the kind of look you’re after. Usually I don’t like getting more than 2 Inspo pics as then the looks can start to vary too much between images. Bringing 5 completely different Inspo pics will confuse your artist and makes it harder for us to know which one you want to go for. You could end up with a mash up of 5 different looks and then you hate it. ✅ Bring photos of your dress, hair, jewellery, flowers, venue, mood board. Anything that will help us envision your look ✅ If you’re tanning for the wedding, tan for the trial. There is no point trying a glowy, tan bronzy look if you’re not tanned. ✅ Wear a plain white top to your trial. Wearing white will help you see how the makeup will look with white. Busy bright patterns will be distracting to the eye. ✅ Leave kids at home. As much as we love kids, your trial is t the time to be trying to entertain them while we work. ✅Try and be open minded and make sure you speak up!
