For hubby’s birthday we hiked the Orrest Head trail in Windermere before having brunch @homegroundcafe and finishing off walking around Windermere and Bowness where we had a few bubblies at @thebelsfieldhotel over looking the lake. My lungs burned the entire way up the trail from being so sick recently but I made it to the top. Sadly the fog was so thick as you can see we had no view but it still was a lovely hike, good food and a place I highly recommend exploring. It was a much needed day of fresh air from us being sick and stuck in all over Christmas. Hoping my cough will finally take a hike like I did because I am over it already. Not a way I wanted to start the new year so many to dos on the back burner and finding it hard to get motivated this new year.
