Are you a community member looking to support Alaska's youth? Look no further. This past summer, we supported critical projects in Alaska's public lands while providing 78 Alaska youth with no-cost excursions into Alaska's wildest places - totally free trips into Alaska's backcountry. Of the 78 students, 🤩 34 AK Geo students first stepped foot in the U.S. Forest Service - Chugach National Forest, 📍 🤩 14 students experienced their first backpacking trip, 🎒 🤩 17 students sea kayaked for the first time, 🛶 🤩13 students experienced Denali National Park and Preserve for the first time, and 🗻 🤩 Three students took their first-ever camping trip! ⛺️ We are looking for community members - businesses, supporters, youth outreach coordinators, and more - to contribute to our work in 2023!
