It makes me so proud that our country, the Philippines🇵🇭, hosted the first World Travel & Tourism Council Global Summit since the pandemic started. The event enjoined our own Department of Tourism, foreign tourism secretaries and reknowned CEOs running various tourism entities from across the globe. Experiences from the pandemic, rediscovering travel and sustainable tourism were some of the topics that were discussed. Since Filipinos are best known for our hospitality, our Secretary @bernsrp made sure that it was an event to remember. Game changing local chefs like @tayagclaude @jordynavarra @happyongpauco_tiu @margaritafores served our guests the best that our local gastromomy has to offer. We also made sure that they were entertained so we had no less than @onlyvenusraj host the night while some of the most talented artists like @bamboomuzaklive @martinnievera @isayasena @bini_ph and @manilaphilharmonic swept everyone away with their music. It's great to see our tourism industry get back on its feet because I personally believe that tourism is everybody's business and is one of the fastest ways our country can recover from the last two painful years caused by this pandemic. I learned so much at such a short time but i'm very proud to be working under the Department of Tourism even at our industry's lowest.
