We would like to extend our gratitude to our longtime partner @bankofamerica for making a donation in support of working mothers, fathers, and caregivers. Many Good+ parents face barriers to meaningful employment, and this grant will help us provide 50,000 parents with some of the resources they need to overcome these obstacles. Lilliana is a single mom raising her three children in New York City. Using public transportation to take her to and from work was difficult, and made it more challenging for her to find steady employment. With the support of her family social worker at a Good+Foundation grantee partner, Lilliana enrolled in a program that provides GED classes alongside a paid internship. She also received a double stroller from Good+ that makes it much easier for her to travel to childcare with her little ones, allowing her to thrive at her classes and her internship. It is through partnerships with forward-thinking companies like Bank of America that share our commitment to breaking down the barriers to economic mobility that we can help parents like Lilliana achieve their parenting and career goals.
