This cookie, man. It was in the swag bag given away at the SDCC screening where my dear friend and Paper Girls co-creator @briankvaughan and I got to share the show with fans. The hand-piped logo on that cookie feels really symbolic to me of all the love and care that has gone into the show and into making this past week so special. I want to thank @imagecomics for their fierce dedication to creator freedom that made our book possible; @legendary, Plan B and @primevideo for believing the story has a life beyond the pages; to the stalwart @_ccr for generously including us every step of the way; the army of crew and staff who lent their heart and soul to the production; the amazing cast, @adinaporter @natecorddry @aliwong Jason Mantzoukas and especially @camrynajones @rileylainelet @sofiarosinsky @finastrazza, the young actresses who impossibly breathed life and depth into our 2D characters. It has been a huge honor to bear witness to this Herculean labor, and come Friday I can’t wait for everyone else to see it as well. Gotta eat that cookie, too.
