Are you looking for an easy spot to catch sunset before the end of summer? ✨Check out this gorgeous spot near Vancouver and save this post for future planning!✨ ✨Bowen Lookout✨ is an easy 4.3km long hike located on Cypress Mountain and offers stunning views of Howe Sound and the surrounding mountains! After climbing 150m of elevation gain, you will be greeted by a beautiful lookout and if timed correctly, you can also be greeted by the most spectacular sunset! The hike takes only about an hour overall, but I would definitely recommend staying at the lookout to enjoy the views as much as possible! Here are some tips if you decide to catch sunset here: ⏰Be sure to check what time the sun is predicted to set the day you visit, as the time is constantly changing! 🌄 Plan some time to spend before and after the sun sets to make the most of the colours! Often times the best colours occur after the sun dips below the horizon, so be sure to stick around! 🔦 Be sure to bring headlamps and other sources of light to hike back in the dark 🦅 Do not feed the wildlife. There are a few critters that stick around the lookout because they have become accustomed to being fed by humans. Feel free to enjoy their cuteness with your eyes, but please refrain from feeding them as it is not healthy for them! 🦟 Pack bug spray!
