A day in the life of a queer van life couple ⇩ Exploring New England has been on our list since the day we got our van almost two years ago. This week we're finally in Bar Harbor, Maine and we celebrated by doing something WAY out of our comfort zone. Out of strict impulse, we signed up for a 4 hour kayak trip off the coast of Maine through the Atlantic Ocean, and ooof was it an adventure. After the first 2 hours, we were given some time to explore Porcupine Island where we regrouped and tried to regain some energy to get ready to make the two hour trek back. We packed @clifbar Clif Thins and Nutter Butter Bars in our wet bags to get the perfect amount of plant-based energy, and geared up to get back in our kayaks and head back towards shore. This was one of the coolest things we've done since moving into our van, and it gave us so much confidence to take on more adventures as a couple. What are some things we should try next?!
