Hearth shaped white & dark chocolate chip cookies. Dunk them in Canada’s best tasting oat m*lk by @EarthsOwn ! These cookies pair perfectly with m*lk, coffee or tea. Crisp exterior with a chewy center and a good balance of sweetness. Ingredients: 115g vegan butter 150g brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 50ml oat m*lk (my preference is the Oat Original by @earthsown ) 170g all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 1⁄4 tsp salt 40g dairy-free chocolate chunks or chips 25g dairy-free white chocolate chips Method: Melt the butter then add it to a medium sized mixing bowl along with the brown sugar, vanilla extract and oat m*lk. In a 2nd medium sized mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt. Gently mix the dry mixture from the 2nd bowl into the wet ingredients bowl. Do not over mix, you simply want to mix until you no longer see white flour. Mix in the chocolate chips and chunks. Cover the mixing bowl then place it in the fridge for 2 hours. This will allow the ingredients to meld and give you the best cookie result. Once out the fridge you can shape the cookie dough into balls and place them on a lined baking sheet placed on a baking tray and bake them in the oven for 10 minutes or until the edge have slightly turned brown. Keep in mind, the cookies will continue to make once out the oven therefore you do not need them to be a dark brown colour before pulling them out of the oven. To make heart shaped cookies, I purchased a heart shape cookie cutter from amazon, flattened the dough once out the fridge with a rolling pin the using the cutter to make the heart shapes. With the leftover dough, I rolled it into a ball, flattened it again with the pin and made more heart shapes until all the dough was used up. #dessert #recipes #dessertporn #dessert #cookies #foodie #sweets
