rest and reflection: how i’ve been starting the year 💖you’re allowed to put your feet up. you’re allowed to be an observer of your own life — in fact we all probably should! my only real resolution this year is to explore the practice of Bullet Journaling - an intentionally analog method of journaling that combines tasks, thoughts, events, and daily, weekly, and monthly reflections. basically, a structured brain dump - and a record of your life, in your own handwriting, you can look back on one day. it’s likely one of those things that seems like an eye-roll from the outside but is a total life changer from the inside. (at least for me) it might not be for everyone, but I already see how my “ BuJo “can improve my anxiety, increase my productivity, and get me out of both autopilot and burnout by providing structures to regularly and mindfully reflect on my life as it’s unfolding — so i wanted to share in case it peaks anyone else’s interest. i really hope this one sticks. i have a feeling it will. ‘23 and me, we’re gonna be good 🐸 (yes this looks like an IG photo from 2013 just roll with it)
